In collaboration with WDP, the company’s overarching objective (its purpose) has been placed at the core of the annual report. This underscores WDP’s pivotal role as a home for the supply chain. Financial and property information, along with ESG impacts, are consolidated under four value pillars. The purpose, ’providing a home for the supply chain,‘ aligns WDP’s immediate results with its strategy and long-term value creation. This offers insight the critical role that modern storage facilities play in sustaining a well-functioning society.

The extensive ESG section offers in-depth insights into the seven selected focus themes. For each theme, the report provides a breakdown of goals, progress, and management approach. The emphasis in this section is on pivotal governance themes for real estate development, such as transparency, corporate governance, and corporate culture.

Factful information presented in a compelling storyline

Sustainable growth, Future logistics, Vitally engaged, and Impact by responsibility form the four value creation chapters. Each chapter offers detailed dashboards that consolidate results, objectives, and impacts. Cases serve to substantiate the data, offering a comprehensive view of returns, logistics potential, and sustainability efforts and outcomes. We refer to this as Factfulness.

With M.A.D.E. for Future, CF Report has elevated WDP’s Climate Action Plan to a higher level. The plan sets out three key themes, Decarb+, Energy and WDP Green, which outline the goals for WDP’s ’Road to Paris’. Notably, the company is forging a new revenue stream within the WDP Energy theme. The Climate Action Plan has played a pivotal role in WDP’s business transformation, solidifying its position as an energy supplier.
