Royal FloraHolland

Royal FloraHolland made significant strides with its strategy for 2020. The company’s objective is to boost the Dutch floriculture industry (including plants and flowers) in a changing global market under the ‘Flowering the World’ banner. C&F delivered a total reporting services package: strategic analysis using selected key figures and developed an online reporting platform in which the strategy, facts and figures and the sustainability policy of Royal FloraHolland are presented in a highly creative way, giving stakeholders the low-down in just a few minutes. C&F also was – in close cooperation with the Sustainability department of Royal FloraHolland – responsible for the new CSR strategy: stakeholder analysis, definition of relevant CSR themes (CSR topics), CSR targets, GRI reporting (based on the new GRI Standards), including dashboarding and design. C&F also created a video of the CEO’s keynote, and prepared a complete, interactive annual report featuring a powerful, full-screen design that can be accessed on any device. The report stands out by its clear structure, the use of visual dashboards, interviews with stakeholders and the introduction of special interactive appendices in portrait format (balance sheet and cash-flow statement). This makes for a very solid and effective overall reporting statement. The complete production was realised in two languages: English and Dutch.

C&F’s scope: strategic design, data detailing, concept, design, CSR strategy, CSR topics and targets, GRI, online reporting section (strategy, key figures, sustainability), video of CEO, interactive PDF, including all pictograms, illustrations and visuals, as well as drafting the copy and editing of the Dutch-language content, full translation, process management/quality assurance.
